The UNB Archives would like to draw your attention to two web-based projects which we have recently completed with funding from the Canadian Council of Archives. The Indian Affairs Collection of 90 documents, 1761-1864, reflects numerous aspects of native history in New Brunswick, including treaties, petitions and appointments. The documents, descriptions and a selection of transcriptions can be viewed at: //www.lib.unb.ca/archives/ia/Indian_Affairs.html.

The 20 documents in the the Gilmour and Rankin Collection, 1812-1862, include correspondence, financial records and travel diaries from the founders of this significant 19th. century Miramichi firm of timber exporters and shipbuilders. The documents, descriptions and a selection of transcriptions can be viewed at: //www.lib.unb.ca/archives/gr/gilmour_rankin.html.
