Within each subject, reference is made to pertinent legislation and case law. Other components of the service include Halsbury's Is it in Force?, Halsbury's SI Citator, and Halsbury's Statutes Citator.

- At the LexisNexis Quicklaw sign-in screen, click on "Register Later". Users may search or browse this service. To search: Enter your search terms in the search box. To browse: Click on "Browse" on the left-hand side of the screen. Choose one of the alphabetically arranged titles and either click again to enter the volume or click on the plus (+) sign next to each title to expand the table of contents. On the browse screen, users can choose Halsbury's Index from the drop-down menu labelled "View" to see the subject index. From the Halsbury's Law of England search or browse screens, users can navigate to other resources available within Quicklaw. Links to full-text versions of cited cases are only accessible to LAW students and faculty who sign in with their usernames and passwords.
