Try our new newspapers database. Search for titles across multiple formats, including microfilm, print and the recently digitized New Brunswick Historical Papers.

Many of our Newspaper Packages permit you to search for stories within the particular newspapers. For other news sources, you will need to use an index to locate your story.

  • CPI.Q (Canadian Periodicals Index Quarterly): very strong newspaper title list from British Columbia and Ontario. To see a listing of newspapers, under Publication Search, click List all Publications, then limit by Publication Format.
  • CBCA (Canadian Business and Current Affairs)
  • ABI/Inform Complete: North American and international; business/trade & industry; with good coverage of South America
  • Business Source Premier: local and international; business
  • Indexes to Atlantic Canadian Newspapers
