Short stories and novelettes. -- [1948?]-[197-?]. -- 44 cm of textual records

Scope and content: This subseries contains notes and draft manuscripts of Walker's short stories and novelettes, many of which were published in Canadian, American, and British magazines including Argosy, The Saturday Evening Post, John Bull, The Atlantic Advocate, and Woman's Journal. Several works appear in Walker's collection of short stories, Storms of Our Journey (1962). This subseries also includes drafts of untitled stories and notes for future writings.

File arrangement is alphabetical by title.

Title based on contents of series.

Researchers should note that some stories listed here may have been published under other titles.

Published copies of Walker's short stories, including many of those listed here, are located in series 3, subseries 4, published short stories.

Notes and drafts of Walker's works of non-fiction are located in series 2, prisoner of war and series 3, subseries 5, articles (non-fiction).
