Scope and Content: This series contains correspondence both to and from Henry Harvey Stuart, most of which is in the form of letters or postcards. It is divided into two sub-series. The first sub-series contains letterbooks in which Stuart copied letters that he sent to various people. The second sub-series contains loose correspondence, most of which were letters to Stuart. There are, however, a few letters from Stuart. Most of the correspondence is hand-written, although some of the more formal letters were typed.
Of particular interest are files 1 and 3 in sub-series 2, which predominantly contain correspondence from Martin Butler and Roscoe A. Fillmore, respectively.
Sub-series:

2. Loose Correspondence. -- 1869 - 1955;
