Scope and content: Series includes lecture notes, essays and miscellaneous student writings in moral philosophy and theology, and a school exercise notebook on geometry from Mullan's years at Queen's College, Kingston. There are several notebooks containing transcriptions of classical orations and a treatise on war, as well as Mullan's own copy of A key to Arnold's practical introduction to Greek prose composition by Rev. J.A. Spencer, rev. NY: D. Appleton & Co., 1855, which is a book of 65 exercises to accompany Arnold's text.

Arrangement is by subject.
