Series 1 Sub-Series 2: Maggie Jean Chestnut House (Women’s Residence). – 1944-1963.

Scope and Content:  This sub-series contains correspondence largely with external individuals, companies and businesses who donated food, furniture, kitchen equipment, etc. to the Women’s Residence. Correspondence with Lord Beaverbrook, utility/maintenance/repair contractors, and students in residence is also included.  The material consists of original and copied records in both typescript and manuscript.

Arrangement is chronological.
