Dear Hathaway:

Just got a roaring letter from
Bliss denying
everything.

“Never”! Impossible! “You can always pooh-pooh
such rumors at once with emphasis.”

He seems to be in glorious good form and is enjoying
life at
Pasadena His address is “care of
First National Bank,

Pasadena, California.”

I am glad to learn from him that you are doing the book
on him. I told, you, did I not? that I am doing one on
Leacock.?

Hope to be in
Toronto in the course of a couple of
weeks.
