July fifteenth 1920
Mr. R. H. Hathaway,
258 Garden Avenue,
Toronto, Canada.

Dear Mr. Hathaway:

Thanks for your letter of July first. I have
received this morning an eight-page letter from
Carman from
Haines
Falls, New York. He says nothing about his health, but writes cheer-
fully and is anxious to go back for ever to
California. He says he
is now dreaming of a house in the desert near the
S ierra Madre Range.
I think I shall run up to see him in about two weeks.

Yours faithfully,
Mitchell Kennerley
