Data Services
If you need statistics for your work, data files may be of interest to you. The
Government Documents, Data, and Maps Department is responsible for acquiring, organizing
and administering data products acquired under license or free of charge by the UNB
Libraries. Listed on the pages linked to this site are some of the statistical and data
resources available to UNB and STU faculty, staff, students, and authorized
researchers.
The UNB Libraries is a member of Statistics Canada's Data Liberation Initiative (DLI) and the
Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research
(ICPSR), through the ACCOLEDS federation. Note that licensing conditions exist
for data files from Statistics Canada and from ICPSR and that the files are to be
used for academic use only. There are no exceptions to this condition of use.
