UNB Libraries provides access to DLI data files suitable for use with statistical packages such as SPSS or SAS, in several different ways. Whenever possible, UNB Libraries makes DLI files available for download (see below). For those who may wish to work with subsets of data files, UNB Libraries patrons have access to two useful services provided other DLI institutions:
Researchers who wish to explore further analysis using confidential (master) files from longitudinal surveys may contact the Research Data Centre to discuss eligibility for data use under the RDC program.
All files are Statistics Canada public use microdata files made available though UNB Libraries partnership in the Data Liberation Initiative (DLI) and, as such, use of these files is subject to the constraints of the DLI licence. Comments or questions regarding the surveys and their use should be directed to the UNB Libraries Data Librarian, rather than to the developers and providers of the software.
