Library Resources in Blackboard and Moodle

Library resources can be linked in both UNB Blackboard and STU Moodle courses. These resources take the form of a subject or course guide and might include indexes/databases, course reserves, UNB Worlcat and/or Quest searching, web links, library floor plans – basically anything that directs students to the tools they need for their course work.

For faculty, this is an opportunity to provide guidance to students as to what constitutes appropriate, relevant research tools, all available in their course environment. Library resources in Blackboard or Moodle can also act as a conduit, in tandem with such tools as RefWorks or permanent links, to online readings without having to upload them to the course site. For detailed instructions about how to provide access to UNB Libraries’ e-Resources by linking to the specific material, please refer to Linking to Library Resources from Blackboard or Moodle.

The default resources relate to subject- or departmental-targeted resources. If you would like specific resources added or removed, please contact Marc Bragdon (mbragdon@unb.ca/458-7741) or your liaison librarian.
