The Crown Lands Card Index is divided into two periods: 1765-1799 and 1800-1920. Surnames of petitioners and grantees are listed alphabetically within each period. Many cards contain information abstracted from the original documents, including other names associated with the principal memorialist. Cards which contain only a name and a location serve as cross references to the main card.
