Electronic Submission Guidelines

The editors welcome submissions on any aspect of Canadian literature.

To reduce postage costs and response times, all submissions to SCL/ÉLC must be made electronically. Please submit your article as an email attachment to scl@unb.ca. Articles should be double-spaced and must contain no references to the author's identity; do not include a title page, but simply put the title at the top of the first page and then begin the text of the article below, with Notes and Works Cited at the end of the same file. Microsoft Word format is preferred for all submissions; if Word is unavailable, please use Rich Text Format (RTF). Citations, Notes, and Works Cited should conform to the MLA Handbook, 6th edition; authors are also encouraged to consult our Style Guide for Authors . Include your name, institutional affiliation, postal address, and phone number in a covering email.

All submissions will be acknowledged with a return email confirming that the attachment was successfully opened. We will make every effort to respond to all submissions (also by email) within three months of receipt.
